Here goes
Oh and Before I start , there ROUGH diagrams , please lay off me on that.
You start a game and respawn:
You fight for a bit and your hardly damaged , then someone decides its a good idea to hide in that top corner of the map and do a buster cannon/big bang attack on you while your fighting with someone else , You beat the someone else and lose very little health (through skill or dumb luck , whatever , this is a example) then the person in question fires the big bang attack/death ball/ buster cannon/ kame torpedo/ scatter beam/ sbc (whatever)
You quickly block and are pushed to the floor and killed by lack of ki/ closeness of ball to floor.
With the running block I'm suggesting , you'd be able to move while holding the running block key (say R) and backpeddle away from the attack, the speed of the running block would be the speed of chargeing a ki attack like KHH or SBC or DB , the attack would then explode on contact with you and you'd take say 3/4 or 1/2 of the explosion damage (Depending on how much Ki you had)
If your wondering where this idea came from , its when Goku was being pummeld with repeated ki blasts when running at Broly.
Equally this would work for beams and it'd be a good way of turning that close explosion radius back on your enemy (unless the beam was to powerful in witch case your both dead anyway)
The running block could also be used as just a secondry block and used while standing (flying) still.
Thoughts?
