I like to be able to control my targeting reticle without moving the mouse more than half an inch or so. It's more responsive that way. Once you beccome accostomed to using high sensitivity, you'll never go back. The higher the sensitivity, the more control you have. Just gotta learn not to jerk your hand about :p

Guess it all really depends on your mouse and pc settings and stuff. Its impossible for me to play properly with a sens over 25.

Anyway, i play with sens 8.5

ESF should put a limiter on this and force less than 7. This is just too abused.

6.3333333333333(etc) if ya must know

*waits until SS comes in here and post about this lol*

Around 15 I think?

This is all kind of ill-represented though. Some mouses are far more sensitive by default than others, such as a normal mouse compared to an opti-mouse, or just a dirty old normal mouse compared to another...

Your sens should depend on ur aiming skills ( having a low sensitivity is a big handicap to u when it comes down to aiming, in my days of cs the best snipers in the world used sensitivities of like 0.4, they barely missed ) , if u aint that good at aiming in games like cs, quake3 etc play with low sensitivities ( below 2 in cs ) until u get really good at aiming and then slowly move it up to a point where u can still aim good but also have speed advantage of having a high sensitivity ( allowing u to quickly pick off people u see on the edje of ur screen and do quick 180 degree turns etc ).
Also change ur sensitivity to suit the game ur playing, eg if ur playing a super fast paced game like quake3 or UT, UT2004, TFC and esf melee battles u should notch up ur sensitivity and sacrifice abit of aim to compensate for the pace of the game.

For CS i use a sens between 3 and 6
For ESF and TFC i use a sens of 10-15. ( esf 15 because huge hitboxes)
For UT,UT2004, Quake 3 i use almost max sens.

I use 90, but it is often hard to tell what sensitivity other people use, as different comps/settings/mouses give different sensitivity levels. I used to use 40, but when I updated my computer to Windows XP, when I was testing sensitivities, I found 90 to be around the same level as my old 40.
O_O do you move ur hands or do you controll the mouse with ur mind i think 4 not higher :(

The reason why some people have their sens set so low, is because they have a high Windows sensitivity. HL sensitivity is dependent on your mouse settings in Windows too, so don't expect to have the same results when you have the slider for your Windows settings all different.

Another thing is the mouse you're using. Different mouses, different speeds. Personally I prefer real speedy mouses that take less than a split second to move across the screen.

Last thing that affects mouse sensitivity is mouse drivers. If you happen to have installed a new set of drivers for your mouse, it's possible you need to recalibrate its sensitivity.

Personally, I use 20, and by terms of twenty, I mean for 1 inch, I have pretty much turned around 360 so consider that around 200-300 or so for you people with low sensitivities :/

well I use around 6 or so. I cant imagine that your aim is superb at a very high sensitivity, ofcourse you get used to it, but to some extend, cuz when I see 50.. i'm like :p
