MOTD Help

Sorry if this has been asked before but can someone tell me the steps needed to make the server have a motd? Like when you join a server it gives you a list of rules or whatever and when you are playing on the server it shows the list of rules or whatever the user puts automatically like every 5 minutes like in color? Thanks in advance.

To make a server have a Message Of The Day, simply put whatever text you want in a file called motd.txt in your MOD directory. As for the text flashing up every 5 minutes, I believe that is done via AMX mod.

Beware, in 1.1 (using the 2.2 SDK) bots can't recognize MOTD menu's thus being uncompatible. It's fixed for 1.2 though (as it is the 2.3 SDK).
