Meh! I was bored...

It was all done with the burn and dodge tools and I don't know who it supposed to be. But ehm I'd like some pointers from the more experienced people out here.

The face is a little flat on the left, his nose needing some major adjustments.

I'd also work on the making the edges a little smoother.

Well those are like that because I brushed some outlines in photoshop.
But they kinda look too horrid to show.

*bump*
Ok this is about the best I can handle on my own.
As you can see it looks a total mess.
I'm in need of some guidance.

And it turned out to be a semi-realistic goku! Hooray! :)

This is probably the best outline you could follow, I recommend CG'ing this first, before trying it on your own, with no guidelines.

wtf? I'm not trying to get down a good goku drawing. I know the drawing is crap.
I want to enhance my shading skills and you're not helping one bit.

Well it is supposed to be a frontal lightsource.
But I really need some tips on how to improve or some good methods.
Maybe some tutorials would be nice but I prefer really learning it on my own.
So does anyone know some good ways to practice all this stuff?
