SPRINGFIELD - A Northern Virginia man is arrested and charged after being caught naked inside his own home.

It happened in Springfield on Monday morning. 29-year-old Eric Williamson says he walked into his kitchen to make coffee. Since he was home alone, he didn't bother getting dressed.

A woman and a young boy walking outside saw Williamson through the window and called police. Investigators then arrested Williamson because they believe he wanted people outside to see him naked. But Williamson says that's not the case. He says he should be able to walk around naked in the privacy of his own home.

If convicted, Williamson could face up to a year in jail and a $2,000 fine.

Williamson is hiring a lawyer to fight the charges against him. He may also seek damages from the Fairfax County Police.

This wicked, perverted man, from the safety of his own kitchen, was intentionally showing his male features to a woman and child who just HAPPENED to be strolling over his property, and was justly arrested by the local police. Good stuff.

Funny though, if the roles were to be reversed, if a woman was naked in her own house and a man happened to see it, the man would get arrested for being a peeping tom. And then someone talks about sexism.

The whole cultural deal with nudity is totally biased too. In cartoons, it was perfectly acceptable to show a situation in which a male character loses his clothes and has to sneak around or get found out by a crowd of people. But never with a female character, no, "that would be borderline pornographic!"

And for the longest time, this **** has peppered my views too. For most of MY life I grew up thinking women didn't like men PERIOD based on this sort of thing. Like we were vulgar for being interested, or even (*gasp*) SHOWING interest. And to this day I have such a fear of the kind of seething, violent rejection you see in TV and movies that I STILL have never worked up the nerve to seek a woman romantically. My only girlfriend of last year came to ME.

But Jesus, a year of prison? Who the Hell WAS this woman?

That's often the case. For investigators to believe he intended for people to see him, he had to have been doing some sort of action for them to think such. Maybe when he saw the pedestrians he started gyrating around? Or perhaps he just has a very large window into his kitchen, easily viewable by the pavement? I'd love to see the prosecution's information, but without it available, we really have no way of telling if he's really at fault or not.
