what kind of software is used to make mods for half-life, and where can i get it?

Dont post if you dont have anything to say: How to make mods: YOu need Modelers, Sprite, Coder and a Team, Or you can all do by yourself. For the HL engine Coding you need skills in C and C++. Want some stuff, have a look at this website. http://www.valve-erc.com/

@orca: We don't care what you think. In fact, this is exactly the place for stuff like this. Granted it's a hugely broad question, and it has been answered several times before. But this is the place. Don't rogue moderate, and don't argue with a mod. We're in charge here for a reason. If you have a problem with a thread, report it to a mod. Other than that, don't derail posts.
