So what do you guys think about it?
Personally, at first i didn't like it that much but after a while i kinda enjoy the new style (not all songs though). This new style seems softer than the old LP style but it's quite enjoyable. :)
My favs are Robot Boy, The Catalyst + the small connection tracks.

i was a huge fan of them, mainly couse of chester benington vocals. But after Meteora, every thing they did started to sound more and more like crap. Minutes to Midnight is a huge mistake, a thousand suns , also a big mistake, only blackout is a decent song from that album.
and also, lot's of harmonzied short songs after 3 years?, a joke to me.

im more of a old school metal fan "Metallica, Alice in chains, Megadeth , Rage against the machine" and so on, at first, LP kinda fited to my taste, but nao, they just do crap. Bennington has so much vocal potenial, such a talent, and he waste's it on some weird emo songs....

anyone of you listens to Alice in chains?

Love Alice in Chains. Though I only started listening to them recently but looked back to their old and new work and they still sound the same even without Layne.

the catalyst is probably the ****tiest song ever. it has terrible lyrics.

God bless us everyone
We're a broken people living under loaded gun
And it can't be outfoght
It can't be outdone
It can't out matched
It can't be outrun
No
like.. seriously? that whole part basically killed the song, it doesn't fit in with anything. You'd think that a band who was actually pretty decent would write something better than that.

That might be saying something if its the only good song on that CD is that.

What can i say...the last 2 LP albums were kind of disappointing for my taste. Just a few "decent" songs on both and that's all. It's a shame...really.

That is some New World Order brainwashing stuff right there. They probably play that after "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" during tank patrols in Iraq.

No wonder Linkin Park gives me uneasy feelings.

How would that be considered brainwashing?....

They're basically telling you to worship weapons of mass destruction.
