Is environmental lighting (or whatever it's called...) going to be included in this game?

Here are some examples of what I mean:
When you activate your aura, the aura changes the light intensity on the model


When you fire a beam ,or a emit some kind of light, it should show on the model and the ground around you

This feature is even availible in 1.2... get a dark map and press Turbo and you'll light up the map. Or shoot a generic beam. ;)
But it looks better in 1.3. ;)

No you false!
There is a map in 1.2 I don't know its name but it has a bridge and two main bases...
a blue and a red one, the map is a little dark, press Turbo and you'll see that there is a source of light generated around your character because of the aura.

You said it yourself. It was a map(one). The version itself didn't have that.

Nor does the map. Its impossible for a mapper to specify that.

It was added in ECX if i recall correctly but it is not in ESf 1.2.3 by default. The only light in 1.2 comes from beamheads.

In 1.3 in any effect script all you have to do is give it a light emission value.
