it looks like you gave him a nose when buu doesn't really have a nose in that form, tr to smooth it out and make it a bit more rectangular

Hehe Dan its a definete improvment but i have to say you still can do better!! ill give you some basic steps to try n get you into gmax

First in milkshape, regroup all your model back into one group, this will be easier
Secondly rotate all of your model on the x axis by -90 (it could be just 90 i 4got, but your model should be laying on his stomach)

Now import to gmax, and click on your model then hit convert to editable poly

Now on the righthand side of your screen you will see some polyediting tools you can use, Click on the vertex one, then rightclick on a blank space on your viewport and press create, then you can make some verticies, then to create faces, you hit the polygon tool and then press create then click the vertices:) this time you can make quads o.0

ok now good luck :)

p.s. redo it more, you can do better if you start off completely in max

Well your refrence pics werent exactly a good choice, because in one he is looking straight ahead and in the other his head is angled down a bit so that has made it look a bit awkward.

But besides that, you have improved, you just have to work on your polyflow and placement a bit. Its all part of the learning process, and it takes a long time, people dont just become awsome in one day. As has been said before, Smo is a perfect example, his origonal models were very very crappy, but now most of his stuff is near perfect. Its all in the practice, and you'll get better as you go along, just keep modeling, model different characters, things, and even things out of dbz so you can get a feel for everything. So good luck, your doin better, and just keep at it :)

thanks for the encouragement. I'm still having alot of trouble learning G-max. everything is soo much more spread out and harder to find than on MS3D. EH, i just wish there was a tutorial for where all the buttons are, lol.
