Kick someone

I can't kick someone from my server. I typed in the console kick and his name, but then...nothing, he's still there.

Help please

another way to kick is to type status
find is id number then type kick #[number goes here]
its the number to the right of his name

lol the thing that anoyed me the most "before i got a dedicated server and started to learn the commands" was seeing someone with ~ in their names there was just no way i could kick him

easy...goto consol using ~ or ` whatever u wanna call it and type in "list players" without quotations... a list of players show up with numbers next to them..next type in kick # and whatever number u want that showed up on the list..very simple and not very time consuming.

there are other ways.
You can go status in console, then type kick "name" WITH quotes!! even if he has spaces in his name or whatever it will give him the boot. The other ways are probobly better, but i just thought i would toss this in
