You know, I actually voted for #1 'cause you can see more of the tech in the bg. You should try changing the color of his uniforum to blue so it fits better though.

I say v2 the red looks a bit better then the black in the background

changing his uniform to blue would ruin it completely, he still goes w/ the reddish trend lines, changing him to blue would make him too strikingly different from everything else. I prefer the second one, although I like the style of the first a little better, its still a little to empty in the area where you put color on the other version
