Just to let you guys know. Funimation does make uncut versions. And then when they send them to cartoon network or whoever, those are the people that cut things out.

Funimation does change the content of what they say, and they do cut somethings out. But I have a few episodes that aren't censored, one in particular, where Mater Roshi fondles android 18's breasts. Quite amusing.

Yeah I loved that part!! I got the Jap versions with the subtitles and when I saw that scene I laughed for 10 minutes straight. And if you want the uncut versions get the DVD's I think they sell uncut versions of those.

here in holland the episodes really suck

i download them all with kazaa cuz i don't wanna see the ones on tv.. the voices are sooo bad the all sound like little kids and the powerups are awful

the music in the english eps i've got is okay.. i kinda like it.. but of course the japanese versions are the best i wish i'd have all of them

This topic has been discussed before. Basically, to recap, I believe it was stated that: Funi isn't all as bad as people make it out to be. Actually, had it not been for Funimation, many people that enjoy DBZ might never have been introduced to it. Take myself, for example. I got to like DBZ originally from watching Funi's dubbed version on Fox on Saturday mornings. Until then, I never knew DBZ existed.

yea, i worship funi as my god, without them...

a long time ago i started to watch "this lame cartoon" cos i was board, i liked it, then i watched more on cartoon network, and also watched "tenchi" and then i found the word "anime" and from that day, my life IS anime

To all the "OMG Japanese DBZ is hella better than the funi crap" I bet without funi you wouldn't even know about DBZ.

And about the bad voice...well..
I could record what bridge production did to the voices and names. And to let you know how bad that dub is : Gohan calls piccolo Big green. Goes to show you how funi actually treats dbz.

And if your a real fan and can't stand the dbz cut version that are aired on cartoon network then buy the uncut dvd. They come with english and japanese voices.

Anyone else who prefers downloading a crappy version of the japenese eps (alot of them are poor quality) and bad subbing go ahead. And do you guys really thing that because in a fan sub vegeta says swears he actually swears in japanese? Comeone it's made by a guy who firstly made dragonball (not z) for kids.

What I'm saying is. Respect Funi cause they are loyal to the origional story line. It's cartoon network whos cutting things out
