I checked once every week or so, but after about a month I gave up, thinking Esf was gone forever.

It was a very pleasant surprise to find an Open Beta update, and the forums back online.

Grega told us about real idea of ESF: that there'll be two teams, each team will have seeker for dragon balls. And others are gonna have to protect him and kill opponet's seeker. ever heard about that ? ^^

Thats not the suprise. How the new CTDB thing would work is old news. Older than the Open Beta thing.
