Last night I was on msn, and my friend Becky, who I havn't seen in a long time tells me she just got out of the hospital. I asked her what about, she said "I had a heart attack, the doctor tells me I smoke too much." Now I know that she is a very heavy smoker and her story sounded believable. Then she tells me she has a bit of memory loss. Now, for those who might not know, during a heart attack, blood loss to the brain causes neuron damage which can cause memory loss... So I really thought she was serious... Then she went on about how she wants to quit, and how she could have died and she was really scared... Then she stops talking.

About 5 minutes later, she starts laughing at me and tells me how gullable I am, I mean, is playing with people's emotions like that ACTUALLY funny? Both my grandfathers died from heart attacks, so maybe I just don't find that very funny...

I just want opinions, do you think this is funny, do you think I'm gullable, do I have a right to be pissed off, what would you have done if someone you havn't seen in a while told you something like this...

I would tell her not to mess with people's feelings like that, you were obviously concerned and you had all the right to do so. you're not the one to blame on this. you were concerned, and wanted to help her. tell her how you felt about that. and that you dont like jokes like that.

my thoughts exactly..... ouch man.... thats just not done, thats too cruel.
I would have gone into a full force rage (and it takes quite a bit to get me mad) and stormed out of there FAST.
Id stay away for a while... b4 saying how much that hurt.

I would ignore her for the rest of my life.

These kind of jokes are just sick. This is not to make fun with.

If one of my friends did this, well just say that they have to kiss my feet if they want me talk to him ever again.

did you know the word gullible is being taken out of the dictionary?

see now, if you actualy believed that then you are gullible. what happend to you is nothing more that misplaced trust insomeone. you had no reason to think she would make something like that up, therefore you thought her story was factual. as said before, your not gullible. your a good friend.

on the internet, it's too easy to look serious. I hate people like that because it happens to me a lot with a couple of my friends. I beleived them at first, but now I don't trust anything they say anymore...

Thanks guys, appreciate it,

Hehe, I don't want to start distrusting everyone Miroku, but like Pain said, I had no reason to believe she was lying...

I second that. :scared:

But seriously, I wouldn't like that, AT ALL. Especially if both my grandfathers died of heart attacks. I would seriously tell her that she's a ***** for saying something like that. I wouldn't talk to her for a LONG time, she would probably have to get on her knees....

and beg for forgivness... you guys were thinking of something else huh? You sick, sick *******s. :laff:

Yet another peice of evidence proving the stereotype, woman are more mature than men. Heh, I'd tell her how that would have made me feel, then called her an *******.

Actually Optimus, I don't distrust everyone, just those elite few who have earned my distrust. I like to pretend I have no trust in people, but in truth, my trust is probably easily won over, like that of a faithful canine...

[Crowd chants]

"DROP KICK THAT TRICK!! [STOMP], [STOMP], [STOMP][STOMP][STOMP]!!"

It's people like that, my friend, that you ought to be best just sending off with a little song.

"Na na naaaahh nahhh...na na naaaaahhhh naaahh...hey, hey, hey...goo-ood bye!" Come on, everybody!! "Na na naaaahh nahhh...na na naaaaahhhh naaahh...hey, hey, hey...goo-ood bye!"
