Nice processor, but you should aim for 1gb of RAM minimum. The GFX card is a bit dated now too if you want to run something at 1024x768 or above.

I agree with Ravendust, you should get 1 gig of ram for sure. And while the vid card is ok, it is kinda dated. I say pick up like a 7600 GT or something. It's not that much more, like a hundred bucks or something. If you really aren't willing to spend the extra money, then personally I would get a smaller Hard Drive and put that money towards the graphics card.

In any case, definately get 1 gig of ram, that's a must.

That depends on where you're buying your rig from. 1x512mb of DDR is roughly $75 CAD. 1x1024 is about $180 CAD. Worth every penny, i'd even reccomend going for 2gb if you want this gaming PC to play later titles well.

The parts I put the * need changing. For the gfx card i'd try and get a 6800gs, 7600gs or 7600gt (if your'e going for a 7600gs, see if you can't find This galaxy 7600gs product). You should get atleast 1gb of memory. As for the mainboard, i'd go find a better brand then gigabyte, such as msi, asus or dfi. You also might need a better power supply if your'e going to get a better gfx card, atleast a 400w psu i'd say.

Dude, his mobo is fine, he's not going for the ultimate performance.

@ Barney's Soul - 1 gig of ram and better G-card... other than that, its a great computer.

Ummm...not really performance related but get a bigger PSU - 450watt. Save you alot of heartache later down the track.

My Gigabyte mainboard was honestly a nightmare..... it sucked. My brother just got hold of his girlfriend's dad's that has a gigabyte board, and the system is fairly new and the mainboard has died after only having the pc since the start of the year.
