There are tons of good RPGs on PC, if you have the resources to attain them.

Diablo I and II are good non-offline RPGs. Fallout.. etc. There are limitless amounts, just look around.

The best Single Player RPG, that has unique characters and a very good storyline is... *drumroll* Torment. I highly recommend this one, by far the BEST rpg I've played yet.
