I personally still liked Toby as spiderman. He just felt like a normal requirement due to him being spiderman while I was growing up.

I want a Marvel Zombies movie though.

While I don't think Spiderman 3 was his fault, I don't like his brand of comedy. JJ single-handedly increased the quality of those films.

Am I the only one who liked the reboot? I personally thought Garfield made a much better spider-man than Macguire. Though, now that it's mentioned, it did have a significant lack of J.K. Simmons.

The reboot was fine. It just wasn't anything new as far as superhero movies go. I think most people are over Spiderman and his fairly sparse rogue's gallery of second-rate villains.

Yes, but Sony owns the movie rights to Spider-Man right now, which includes all characters belonging to that franchise.

That's bullshit! :/ Damn Sony for that. I don't know as much about Iron Man as I do with Spider-Man, so I would appreciate not being exposed to things that are "non-canon".

Why damn Sony? Marvel sold them the rights when they were going bankrupt, and Sony has made a killing with the rights. I wouldn't give it up, either.
