Out of curiosity, why when I use internet explorer, do websites say my Ip is 66.185.xxx.xxx, but when I use netscape it's 24.112.xxx.xxx?

Any thoughts...

Are you using a router because sometimes it will pick up the routers ip or your actually ip. Its nothing to really get worried about.

I realize that it's not a problem, it's just that on Newgrounds, it tells me that my IP has already voted on movies I'm positive I havn't voted on, but then I try to vote on netscape and it lets me. Only problem is I hate Netscape, and it seems to crash a lot.

And no, I don't use a router.

go to command line and type ipconfig
if im right it will show 2 network adapters with 2 different ips
i have the same thing at home for some reason
if it is like that then the 2 browsers are just detecting the different ips

C: \WINDOWS>ipconfig

Windows IP Configuration

0 Ethernet adapter :

IP Address. . . . . . . . . : 0.0.0.0
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . : 0.0.0.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . :

1 Ethernet adapter :

IP Address. . . . . . . . . : 24.112.xxx.xxx
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . : 255.255.xxx.xxx
Default Gateway . . . . . . : 24.112.xxx.xxx

C: \WINDOWS>

Uhh, what does this mean? (it is showing 2 adapters, but one has O's?)
