show me the light telling me wich up-grade an patch i need to play esf by the internet and where to find them!!

Well, you need the latest half life patch which you can get from here (You need the Half-Life 1.1.1.0 Client (Full client) which is 82mb)
You also need beta 1.1 version of esf.
