how do i set my halflife to work in OpenGL?
im new at this game stuff.

...start up half life, click on configuration, then video, then modes, and click on OpenGl.

by the way you need a good video card to run in opengl, you could also try d3d mode but i don't know whether esf supports D3D or not so ..

you don't need a good videocard ... nowaday all card support 3D acceleration

the point is:
OpenGL is a possibility to calculate 3D engine ... you don't have to know what exactly what it is ... think that's it's a video mode of your video card (my opinion it's the best mode )
