Can anything dangerous happen if you unpack your packs,like corrupt a Half-Life file? If so, Please tell ne I want to learn how to map And I know I will slowly make my way.

No, when you unpack the .pak it copies it so you have the packed (original) .pak and the unpacked/unzipped/extracted version.

Or use Pak Explorer, it's part of the Half-Life Tool Pack.
