... that these forums still seem to remain to be a tight-knit community. Sure, there's a lot of new blood, but seeing super old people like Prozac still post here is astonishing.

I'll try to not be too gay about it, but this place really has been the only constant factor in my life this last decade. Hardly a week goes by when I don't look here once or twice. Sure I don't post post that much these days, but I do skim over most topics.
I actually just came here to start a thread about how weird it is that American media can twist facts and lie so much to it's populace, but as usual, I never press the "Create thread"-button. Something that I also do a few times a month.

I really should've made that thread where I wanted to discus something that I was philosophizing over at the time. It was about having "freedom of will" or it's all just based on "action/reaction with the illusion of said free will" (I am leaning towards the former right now.)

I don't post much myself, other than to occasionally troll people, but I'm generally checking the forum every few days. Earths Special Forces is the one game I remember most from my childhood, other than AvP2, so I'm loyal until they day they shut down the site. Either from giving up or from a final release.

There has only been one problem I have seen with HL mods and such... If you find the game 2 to 4 years late, it's usually hard to find a server with people.... It's just because the HL mod community is absent currently.

I joined the forums just over 11 years ago. As psychologically risky as it may have been, I technically grew up around a few of you guys. I suspect I'll be recounting your antics to a therapist some day in the distant future.
