ok i have esf and half life but how do i start the game

u cant be seriouse!

it puts a shortcut on your desktop jsut click it

if u dont have a shortcut... then open halflife then select laod mod and the select esf

when i open half life to play esf when i push start server it says something about the hl.dll i have the file but what do i do with it?

I'm no expert on this...but do you have the most recent version of Half-Life? (1.1.1.0)

Ok here goes, just incase you haven't installed everything correctly, here's the list again:

* Install Half Life, the original version.
* Download and install 1.1.1.0 HL Update.
* Install ESF Beta 1.1 from here and install that correctly.
* Double click on the shortcut created on your desktop to play.

Well, if it's not letting you, it's giving you an error of some sort, provide us with the details of this error.

when i try to continue the update after i chose the file i that should be updated and when i click next it says i am trying to update a another luaguage of half life with an english updated but both of the are english

i have the same problem when i whold to install the update it says a problem from the language but i have the english version what can i do to fix this???

Find a new update, or get the full install.
