i need help with the game

i really wanna play the game but i activated it in counter strike and i went to multi player then i found some servers with esf and i tried all of them but it says connection could not be completed.

can u play cs and hl mutiplayer?? if u cant its a internet problem,if u can,then its still a internet problem
