Everyone knows how you can replace a model of one character with another you download. Can you put in a character that you created yourself(not already in the game) and if you can how?

Of course! Just make your character model and, for Half Life (Since ESF is a Half Life Mod), export your model to a reference SMD. You can either go to the trouble of making about 200 animations or assign the default ESF one to your model, and compile it.

I think he actually meant putting his character INTO the game (coding wise). As in unique attacks, name, etc. Not just replacing the models.

If that's the case, then you can't.

you CAN do unique attacks and everything, if you can animate them. but you would still have to replace 1 character already existing in the game, currently there is no way to add a character without replacing an old one, and i dont think that will change in 1.3 either...

when i say add attacks, i dont mean have all the uber moves in 1 character, you will still be limited to 1 generic beam, 1 uber beam, 1 death move etc.
