I don't get any of this at all. I installed Steam, but it keeps popping up a purchase half-life window when i try to join a server. A tutorial or SOMETHING would be reaaaaaaaaaaaaaallly appreciated, thanks!

ESF is a modifacation for Halflife

You need to purchase Halflife to run the game.

just register your CD-key with STEAM

go to Browse Games in the steam menu and then click on Register a product i already own

that should make it work

Aw crap! I left my HL booklet with the cd key on it at my other house... good thing were going over there tomorrow i think thanks for your help guys
