3000 bucks for my current PC a year ago.

P4 3 gig, ATI Radeon 9800 pro, 512 megs DDR Ram, 120 Gig Hd, etc etc.

I will put however much I need into it. It's alot cheaper just to make your own computer cause you can find good parts and stuff for real cheap at computer shows/fairs.

i spent AU$1700 on my first comp in 99
then i spent bout AU$1200 adding on my current 1
but now that i have a job my budget has lifted
and i will spend whateva it takes to get the best possible computer at that time
just waiting for a game (World of Warcraft or Half-Life 2)

i am going to buy a new computer SOON and i will spend about $2300 AU thats about
$1700 american.... i am waiting for the Nvidia 6000 series which will be out SOON

I have money, so it doesnt really matter to me. My current one cost me like 2,500 new one will proly be in the 3-4k area.
