My current problem is after i have installed steam i did what steams website said, but now i have the issue that the game does not load. It comes up as default halflife without the saved mp3 list, the key map for esf, and the backround. Basically i have no ability to edit Esf setting and the game does not tint properly. The tinting issuse basically is that the bars are almost white instead of red and blue. The game is unplayable in without the control menu and im stuck with default mp3list. That should be enough to go on.
How do you set up the game after steam is installed?

you can change the playlist with the official playlisteditor (coded by Navanax) in your mp3 folder ... this has nothing to do with steam

about the menu ... I've seen this on a different way, too ... just try to activate ESF via HL menu

Yes it does because steam basically won't run the game. I ran the playlist editor and yes i changed the music and saved. Ive played the game since beta and now it won't run. Its as if the game being psudo run in halflife and you cannot select mods in the new steam.
