you can get both... to get a sig go into your Private Messages, you can edit everything there. esf has some avatars you can use. or make your own or request a sig and avatar in the signature section

click on private messages in top right hand corner click on edit avatar. and edit your avatar.

if you want a sig make a thread in the "signatures" part of the fourms and tell them what you want in it what pics what bg. etc.
