How do I record a demo?

Hi. I'm new to the ESF scene, and, well, I wanted to record a demo file to send to my friends so that they could play it and see some cool things that I did. But, first off, I know how to record half-life files (type record, then the file name), but how do I play a demo i've recorded? I see the file (ESF.dem), but what do i have to do to play it? I think I have to type something into console and then it happens, but what are the commands? Well, thank you in advance for any help, and I must say this mod is great.

Go into the console and type "playdemo whatever"
of course put the name of your demo where whatever is.

2 record a demo: press down console: type:
record "demoName"

When you have finisht your demo just type: stop in console and then the demo is d0ne. 2 waths them just type:

playdemo "demoname"
