Horrible Bad Glitch

I dunno what is going on but using halflife mods ESF & DMZ i always get Error: Connection Problem or sometin like that and its sometimes right after joining a server and sometimes like 10 mins in.. its EXTREMELY annoying since i cant play for much at a time. If anyone has had this problem please give advice, and everyone else, PLZ HELP ME. (could it just b my system?)

PII 400mhz
288 MB SDRAM
16 mb Voodoo3 3000
Win 98
On DSL through a Belkin Cable/DSL router (tried w/o still doesnt help)
New System in 1 week 5 days (Will this be good with the new particle system?)
P4 2.2 Ghz Northwood Core
512 MB PC-800 Rambus RAM
128 MB GeForce 4 Ti-4400
Win 98 SE

The reason it says connection problem usually is, either the server you just joined crashed. Most often happens in DMZ. Or your computer connection to the internet has been temporarily cut.

Well i dont understand y i dont have problems playing CS (mod version) and TFC. I know my comp is a POS thats y i got a new one. I dunno its really my bad luck i think :cry:

Insane dataloss unable to be fixed with a flush will do aswell.

Is there any command that halflife uses to refresh the data or something i can do to recover?

I heard flush will activate the flush but I can't remember that it worked for me.

hmm.... I say the command reconnect. You'll lose all score but at least can play again.
