First and foremost, I'd like to say that esf, in my opinion is one of the greatest mods on the internet today. I also have lots of friends to back that opinion up. Which then leads me to the reason I'm posting this today -- I feel that ESF should be transferred to the HL2 engine -- reason being that the quality of graphics would be brought up to the mainstream level of pc gaming graphics today. For example, the interactivity of the game would almost virtually be endless. Me and my friends have been conjuring up ideas on how this could work, but I personally think we should go overr the little bits and pieces to assure that we can make this work. You guys have proven that DBZ can be done well in a mod, thus ESF. I believe that you guys could step it up to the next level and extend it to Half-Life 2.
Just think about it ... if ESF were on HL2, an entire mountain could be annhilated in the wake of a Kamehameha. When you jump, the ground would break under the the power of your boost. Swoop trails would be infinitely more detailed, and charging your energy could affect the environment (make the ground shake, make lightning come, etc), depending on your power level. When a character is hit into the ground, he could make a crater in the ground instead of just picture of cracks in the ground. Now I know that all of this would be a difficult task to achieve, but I believe that you guys can do this. Let's take ESF to an ascended level -- like Goku would do when he goes Super Saiyan 3.
