how would i add in the bardock model, consdider it is not updated to just throw the file in

If you mean 1.2.3 then you have to replace the goku.mdl file.

If you mean the open beta then its XML based to add different skins for characters. Like adding a Bardock skin for Goku.

Sadly that feature is broken in the last open beta so you can see your custom models, but you cant select them ^^
