Help!

ok,i got 1.0.0.5 but then when i try to play it says "cannot find hl.exe"?Where can i get that file?

It can't find hl.exe? :shocked:
Thats basically the game itself... check in your Half-Life folder. Is it there? If it isn't, reinstall Half-Life.
And ESF won't work without the newest version, which is 1.1.1.0.
You'll have to find the patch once you fix this problem.

or you could have misplaced HL... so just search for it and put it back in place. If this doesnt work, then do what DragonDude suggested. Re-instsall.

What? Why and how would he hide it?
And even if it was a hidden file, the system would still no where it was...
He might have accidentally changed it's path though... somehow.
