Whenever i try to join an ESF game i get this **** wheere it says "You must be validated through won.net"

then it says "Could not obtain WONID"

I had that prob, I had to restart my comp, but try reinstalling esf, Half-life,or the patch.

i'll reinstall half life, cuz it does that when i join CS games too

all that it means is that you won id isnt connecting to the server, try a patch if reinstalling doesnt work

well it works now but now when the game is abouit to load it freezes comp

you know, like where the screen goes up

Had that problem a while ago, reinstalled HL, patched it, and re-downloaded ESF fixed me...

its not hl, its either a firewall, router, or just won is to over populated your connection doesnt seem to conneect.

It works now, it was ESF, i reinstalled and it started working

i think it was esf cuz it didnt work, then i reinstalled ESF and it worked

well the nit didnt do anything, just coinsidence.
i had that problem a while back ago, i reinstalled everything, didnt do anything.
but once i waited a few day it was fine, usually you just have to wait for a second to connect, cause theres millions of people playing.
