I leave mine open every day never put my side cover on, so if you want to find out whats wrong with your computer do it. If you send it to a computer tech, they will leave it open to see whats wrong.

Gah, ok I'll have to wait till my mom comes home. Anyway thanks everybody for the help so far. I really appreciate it. I know this might be too much to ask but would anyone mind helping me find a decent power supply that fits the specs from the reccomended power supply from gateway(link is on first post) on ebay? Like I said before, I have no idea what to look for. Oh and if someone miracously does decide to help me I'd like the price to be kept under 20bucks. I went to ebay and kind of browsed through and there are some that are under 20bucks

Ok even if I did go to newegg, I'd still have no idea what to look for. Besides on ebay I got my new 9800 Pro(still shrink rapped) 256bit,128meg memory for under 170 dollars.

Well goto power supplies, look at the specs of each one, compare them to the one gateway recommended.. then look for that one on ebay.

I really dont know, read the Power supply specs Gateway sent, and then looks for those on newegg and/or ebay.

I found a couple on ebay, I'll post the ones i like the most. But I have a question, are dual fan power supplys better?

usually 2 of something is better than one

Yeah they are probably better, sense you dotn need to buy somthing that can support it, like motherboard with dual Processors or dual AGP.
