I'm new here. When I click on shortcut, it says Windows cannot access specified device,path,or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. I have Half Life 2 and Steam. At top of error box, c:\steam. exe. Please help me..

You need Half-Life to play ESF. It's not a Half-Life 2 mod. It seems pretty cheap these days too, you should be able to pick it up for less than 20 bucks.

i suggest you look around a bit , this wuestion has been asked alot , if you bought it through steam thou (silver/bronze i think , can't remeber) you have access to valve's back catalog
