Help with spriting -Pallete-

OK i read the tutorial, but i'm a little confused on the pallete part.

Could you give me an example of what EXACTLY i should be doing.

you using photoshop? you need to go to :

Image> mode

you should see RGB ticked, click indexed colour, click the palette, and click local perceptual, click okey, then save the image. If you are doing an animation, for the first frame click local perceptual, then on EVERY frame after, when converting the palette click PREVIOUS, otherwise it wont be compatible with the other frames in the animation when converting into a spr file with sprite wizard.
