ok i jus spent the last 5 hours downloading esf cuz i have a phone line,and when i try to install it startz to load and then this little window pops up and says 1608:Unable to create Installer Driver instance. does any body no what this means and what to do?

But seriously... this problem has occured lots of times, the installer just is a bit buggy. You should try the zip file... I don't know where it is though, search the forums for it.

ok i jus downloaded the alpha2.0 does anybody no where i can get the beta zip file?

I only have .exe download links, al the .zip download links I know are dead :\

I feel your pain, 56k brother.
I had a problem like this, after downloading the file and it didn't work I nearly broke my keyboard, (and my forehead).
But as bad as it sounds, I downloaded the .exe from another mirror and this one worked. So I guess thats your best bet.
Either that, or get a buddy with cable or faster to download it and burn it onto a CD for you.
