Idk where to put the files of models that im going to download is it C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\Half Life or is it in the models folder?

well i put them in the models folder and no diff do i need to get rid of big pack 8.4?

Models alone are not going to apear in the selection screen.

You need the code to back them up. Or you need to replace existing character models with the new ones.

So if you only have the .mdl files you either have to code the characters in yourself or replace existing .mdl files with the ones you downloaded.

I dont even know what you have.

Youll have to tell me a bit more. Like what kind of files you have.
just .mdl files or any stuff thats .amxx or any other file extentions.

Well, are you trying to add more characters for ECX?
Or are you just trying to replace certain characters' models?

im just downloading the 1.2 pack for ECX sorry just realized i could of been more specific lol
