HELP PLEASE

when i click on the esf icon it says hl.exe not a valid win32 application and when i go into counter-strike and click custom game and do it that way when i try and create or connect to a server the game goes back to the wallpaper need help!!!!!!

sounds like a typical corrupt install re-install it and make sure you install it into the right directory.

Yup, your HL.exe is definetly a win32 application... Windoews not recognizing it is a straight-on sign of corruption. A simple reinstall should fix this.
