Help me with the mods

Cmon everytime i download a mod it doesnt show up when i play. Will someone show me how to get it on? Cuz its pissin me off that i cant do none of this crap.

Right-click desktop > Create Shorcut

Target line:
<place where CS Retail/HL is installed> -game <mod folder name here>

Mine would be

C: \Sierra\Counter-Strike\cstrike.exe -game esf

Simply starts ESF

Or alternatively

Start HL/CS Retail > Custom Games > Select a MOD > Activate

Easy as pie
