help me with half-life

hello .. i download ESF but when the setup comes i must choose a map but can't click install .
i thought i must have half-life / counter-strike.
can somebody help me

Yes, you need Half-Life 1 in order to install ESF.

If you have a legal copy of Half-Life, you must use Steam (www.steampowered.com). Download and install Steam, then register your Half-Life key code on Steam. Then you can download Half-Life through Steam. After that, you must run Half-Life at least once (this creates files and folders that ESF needs), and then install ESF.

If you follow these steps, it should work correctly.

ESF will not work with any version of Counter Strike, and it will not work with Half-Life: Source. You will need the original Half-Life 1.
