Strrrange.... I noticed that i have been playing all my half-life games on the Software video option. Now i switched to OpenGl. When i go to play, i can play a couple of mins, and then the window goes all black or white. What the **** is the problem?! HELLLPPPPPP

no software mode sucks i got 30 fps with it. then to opengl i got 60 then with vsync off i get 100 (most of the time) so tell me what your video card is and i can help you

100 fps is good and all but keeping v-sync on is a good idea. Anyway, as was stated above, dl the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website. If that doesn't work, switch back to software mode (direct3d looks nice but doesnt run nearly as well as opengl). You should also make sure your video card supports opengl.
