well im trying to make a model, so i have put in a background image, but as soon as i want to model the feet(or head) i cant do that...the reason is, it wont zoom in there, it will only zoom in at the places where the Z,X,Y axis lines stand...so whenever i try to zoom in at the feet it wont happen which is really annoying, since unzoomed i cant place the vertices well >.<

can anyone help me with this?

if you have a mouse wheel you could use that to zoom in and out, if you dont have a mouse wheel then make sure everything is unselected then hold shift and move your mouse up or down to zoom eighter way

yes i know, it will zoom (i have a mousewheel) but it wont zoom lower then the XYZ axis lines...so i cant zoom in at the foot (or head) only at his hips/legs...

so what im asking is, how can i go lower with my view so i can view his legs

if you have a mouse wheel, click it inwards and hold, then drag, at least on most mousewheels you can ;O
