If the melbourne shuffle isnt meant to be a performance, there probably shouldnt be hundreds of videos on yputube of people doing the same ****. People want other people to see them doing it. They are performing. Any dance can be a way to express oneself. That doesnt somehow excuse a dance from being stupid to watch. I could do the worm for an hour and tell you the motions represent the ups and downs in life. It still looks stupid.

No oneis claiming its easy to do. Is it repetitive? Yes. If you've seen one person do it, you've just seen 95% of all performances. The ledtovers are people who understand the shuffle is a link in a chain, and not the chain itself.

i think its impressive, but it gets a little old over here. i think its pretty cool when im out clubbing and then you see a crowd of people gathered to watch 2 guys KILLING it. like way better than those noobs up in the video. its kinda immursive. its entertaining as all hell for me. especially when im drunk.

I'm honestly of a split mind about this.

A) I think it's stupid, I don't get it.
B) I don't quite know if I have the right to be cynical and put them down for doing it. They're having fun, they're not harming anyone, who am I to judge them?

You may be alone in the community, but only because you've run out in front of us, you've taken the lead and the rest of us are following you to something beutiful - we're following you to unity. Don't you see what has just happened? You just became the chain that links the rest of the community together. I've been here for almost ten years now and in my time here, I've never seen the community this united on an issue before, not even in regards to evolution or global warming. Hell, in this thread I've interacted with Avenger and enjoyed that interaction. Never has happened before. Granted, I may have indirectly hinted that he should kill himself, but I think we both had a good time.

You can't stop now, you owe us that much. Create another thread with another topic you like and we can keep this momentum going.
