lol of course they are gonna release it on the xbox360 considering it started on the xbox and if they didnt they would be stupid cuz its gonna bump up the selling of the 360 by ten fold cuz some like me will only buy it for this game and ninty nine nights <.<

I was never really able to get into Halo. The story was ok, but I've read 20 books with similar storylines.

That said, if we find out the creators of the Halos were Humans before their "great fall" or a super peaceful civilization that was an ally of humanity, I'm killing everyone involved with the project.

...I've decided it is the solely most overrated game I've ever played. Bungie just did a lousy job with it.

if you are judgeing halo by number 2 you are failing at it, because number 2 was not very liked for its story mode/single player aspect, xbox live was the most focused on that game but if u wanna judge halo play the first one imo

I wouldn't call Halo 2 overrated... most people thought it was bleh. And the single player certainly wasn't it's strong point. It wasn't without it's moments, but overall not as good as the original. Live was fun with it though.

I'm not buying a 360, so this isn't exactly earth shattering news.

I think you're going to be murdering a lot of people then. Considering the Ark is buried on Earth, and the monitor refers to the humans as "Reclaimers" meant to activate the Halos... seems like they were basically the Forerunners.

That's sad man. I can name like 15 games that are ten times better than any halo game ever could be, a lot of them great shooters too.

People diss the 360 but it really has a ton of awesome games for it.

Most games made for the 360 are going to be multiplatform though, Halo is one of the few great First Party games out there [Though there is stuff like Gears of War, which looks amazing]

I want you to know that my post was based purely on the trailer. I played some of Halo and some of Halo 2, but not enough to get a sense of the story. Its predictability like that that keeps good games from becoming great.

They need to make an Advent Rising 2. I'm sure a lot of people thought the first game was bad, but the story was excellent for an action game.

i coudl say the exact same thing for the ps3, not the wii though.

anyway, halo 1 was amazing, halo 2 was alright. I'll probably end up getting halo 3 just to see how it all ends, and maybe i'll be luck and it'll be an awesome game too!

It depends on your tastes. I personally hate any and all RPG's [Especially MMO's..] so I see the 360's exclusives as more attractive.

ah i misunderstood you then, i thought you were saying the xbox 360 was bad because all its games were going multiplatform. I love my 360 so far
