Halo 2 for Pc?

it will be interesting to see if nvidia and ati have a tough battle with this game , i would say ati for halo2 coz it theres more vertex shaders on ati cards (6 compared to nvidia's 3)

They haven't actually said anything about it. But just think back to halo 1. It will probably take about the same time for the game to come to PC as that one did, quicker if bungie realizes that there idiots to hold on to it for soo long.

Yeah, its just not as much fun on a PC. Maybe our expectations are higher for computer games or something, but it just wasnt as good on PC.

Anyone know if were going to have to wait until Xbox 2 to finish the storyline from Halo 2?

Yeah, no doubt they'll probably be giving us the ending that should have been in Halo 2, in Halo 3.

But yeah, I agree, Halo just didn't seem as much fun on PC. I could never quite put my finger on why it was worse though.

And if it came out for PC first and was then ported, I'm sure the results would have been identical. Look at the HL and Quake ports...

According to Gamespot, there's an expansion pack coming out for the Xbox version. Nothing on the PC version though. Yet.

Ironicly on the top of my friends Halo on Xbox, it has in a yellow box "Only on Xbox" I believe his Halo 2 has it too.

Imho, Halo2 on PC will be complete and utter pewp. There are somethings controlers were designed to do. I honestly wouldn't expect Halo 2 on PC anytime within the near future and if it does you can be expecting a 10k PC to run it on the lowest vid settings.

ther'e bringing out doom3 on Xbox i don't thinkitr will do so well , considering that it is a pc game , it's just no fun anymore , run in to a room , pwn monsters to death then the next room get ur supplies) thou i wonder if san andres will be popular on pc (wth all those mod iv'e seen for vicity , it may be a successful modding game on pc)

Of course san andres will be popular on PC

PC gamers love GTA, GTA was born on the PC and it belongs on the PC. But this is about Halo 2 not other games.

If they bothered to do a full and proper port of halo 2 it might work out well but not many people bother to go through the trouble.

Yeah the Xbox rules the consoles for power, but it is also a number of years old. Most computers could easily handly Halo 2... but shouldnt.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the "only on Xbox" sticker meant that a game would be Xbox exclusive for something like 6 months. No idea if it's true though. Also, the Xbox easily handled Halo 1, but the PC port ran like complete and utter crap on most peoples rigs.
