I honestly don't see how you can think HL2 on Medium looks worse then HL, the low setting looks better then HL. I think you are just an upset Doom 3 fanboy, but no matter, I like HL2, and MANY others do to, so your proplems are of no concern to me.

For the record, I don't think it is a technologically AMAZING game, quite frankly, it isn't anything mind bendingly amazing graphicswise. Thep hysics rule, and the water is the best I've ever seen, and I like the textures/skins, but somethings just aren't the best. However, I do feel this games AI is topnotch (so what, it has a few glitches, name a game with zero AI proplems, you won't find it. Now that I think about it, Doom 3 was mostly just scripted sequences.)

The games flaws are tiny, and not a proplem, hardly anyone can recreate them.

The glitches are another story, MANY people have the glitches, MANY people don't.
