Well i just watched the last Episode of DBGT.

and now i got one question WHY did Goku had to go ???
shenlong said goku that he has to go, and Goku dont even cares.
anyone can explain me this ???

Now, i haven't seen it for a while, but if i remember Goku wishes himself to be taken for the lives of everyone else killed on that day. Well ermmm something like that. Someone else will probably know what happend in better detail.

yep. goku dies and since he knows he should be dead like 3 or 4 times he has np accepting that. (not that he ever had but still ) in manga says that he gets to be some kind of guardian (dont remember exactly) that can change dimentions, and continutes his training with vegeta and the rest in the next dimention. but that wasnt showed in anime.

I'm not entierly sure he says it, since i haven't seen it for ages, but its just what i remember people saying on here ages ago.

My understanding was that the Dragon Balls were still tainted by evil and the only way to truly clense them was for Goku to merge with them and go away for a long, long time. Thats why, when he is riding on Shenlong, the balls merge into his body.
